Steps for Learning to Speak in English.
Step 1. Get Ready The first step is the one when you have to make up your mind to learn to speak in a second language. No matter whatever promises the teaching courses make the fact is Learning a language requires your patience and persistent efforts. It is a never ending phenomenon. Get ready and make a promise to yourself that you will not give up.
Step 2. Selecting the right approach. Depending upon your style and convenience of learning you can opt for various methods. Learning by books is one way if you are a self motivated learner. Online Learning is another famous approach where you have flexibility of learning. One of the most effective way of learning is the classroom learning which gives you an opportunity of constant interactions with the instructors and peers. With a better review method.
Step 3. Building up Vocabulary If you are not speaking English easily that means you are not aware of lot of English words. You take time to place the appropriate word. The more words you know in a language, better grip of language you will have. Try to update yourself with at least five new words everyday.
Step 4. Start applying Only learning new words will not help unless you know the usage of the same. Make sure that you are applying the words while you are speaking. Try to use the word at least two to three time in different situations/places. Find a partner who can be your friend, family, teacher or any other with whom you can converse in English with comfort. Remember the more you speak, the better you will learn the language.
Step 5. Create a favourable environment Create an environment of the language. Try to be in touch with the language as much as possible. Watch English Movies, English serials, listen to English News, English songs. Read a lot of English in the form of books, novels, newspapers, magazines.
Step 6. Start thinking in English Immerse yourself in the language to an extent that you start thinking in the language. Watch, Listen, Read and Talk in English. You will see that you have stopped translating the language instead the words have just started coming to you.
Step 7. Speak Speak Speak Speaking requires a lot of practice. The more you speak the more you will learn and more familiar you will become of that language.
